Combining Nord's latest piano features with the Organ and Rotary Speaker from the acclaimed Nord Organ 3, the Nord Electro 7 offers exceptional versatility in a lightweight, stage-ready instrument.

The Nord Electro 7 73 is a performance-oriented stage keyboard that expands the Electro platform with a 73-key semi-weighted waterfall action and a comprehensively updated sound engine. Designed for players who need expressive organ performance, enhanced piano realism, and flexible synth capabilities, the Electro 7 73 delivers hands-on control in a streamlined, stage-ready format.

Organ, Piano, and Synth Engines

The Organ Section is based on the engine from the Nord Organ 3 and features a new rotary speaker with selectable mic positions, slow/fast and stop functions, and updated transistor organ models. Drawbar Live Mode enables real-time performance control, with presets available for both upper and lower manuals, while physical drawbars with LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback.

The updated Piano Section adds Dynamic Compression and Unison for a more powerful and present sound. A new Synth Section further expands the Electro 7 with sample playback alongside analog and FM synthesis, offering mono and legato modes, glide, unison, vibrato, ADR envelopes for amp and filter, and a filter with resonance and FM partials.

Program Control and Interface

The updated Program Section introduces a new color display and Live Mode, allowing smooth program changes during performance. Push encoders are used throughout the instrument for selecting programs, sounds, and categories, creating a consistent and efficient workflow for both editing and live use.

Effects and Amplification

The updated Effects Section includes rate and amount controls, ring modulation, and vibe effects. The Amp Section adds a new Suitcase model and a new Brit amp, while compression can be applied per section or globally. A global reverb with optional send per layer provides flexible ambience control across layered sounds.
